What’s The Difference Between “Author” and “Writer”?

I don’t know and I don’t care.

But what I do know is that if I am spending any ‘neuron-energy” pondering this question then I am sure as heck not writing!

For me, it’s simply a meaningless, procrastination rabbit-hole (like this post?).
