For my blog, idea capture is not one of my weaknesses.

I have a running list of over one hundred ideas for blog topics at any given time (117 as of this morning), which I can dive into whenever I want.

Whenever I have an idea for a blog topic I activate Siri on my iPhone ( or, in the house, I use my HomePod). For example, for this blog I recently said “Add capture ideas using iPhone or HomePod to Reminders List”.

Now, my Apple Reminders List is linked to my organizational software program OmniFocus’s Inbox, so any words placed in it will default be back to my daily and weekly OmniFocus review system. So, when I review my OmniFocus Inbox (usually every day, but never-ever more than one week!), I will edit my idea slightly, and place it into my OmniFocus Projects File called Blog Topics, a small portion of which is seen above.

Key point: Provided I have my phone with me or I am in my house, I have a superb voice-activated idea capture system for any ideas I have for future blogs (or just about anything else).
