Although most people say they hate drama, in my experience, most people seem to revel in it.
For me, drama in every form (political, personal, financial, spiritual) is a creativity killer, and lately, thanks to CoVid, (or, more specifically, our culture’s response to Covid) it’s ubiquitous.
So, whether it’s face-to-face or online engagement, I actively avoid people whose mission in life is to drag others into their drama whirlpool.
My gosh, I feel sorry for them—what a horrible way to live—but I can’t allow their issues to derail me from my purpose, my mission, my ikigai.
(FYI: The photo of my kitty is of him being so dramatic. It’s OK for these wonderful creatures to be dramatic; not so much people.)
