4. Physician Friendliness for Mental Health Issues ( eg – in what state would a doctor have to report to the licensing board a distant history of treatment for postpartum depression?) The reporting requirement for prior mental health issues is particularly important because it is a reasonable proxy for how the various State Medical Boards treats their physicians.
Putting these all together? I think Hawaii comes out on top.
