Here’s how I used this morning’s journaling time (see the results above) to create a small idea for a podcast. Note the odd train of thought, as indicated by arrows:

First I had it in my mind I was going to write a small haiku ⇒
Should I use a single haiku for a blog post? ⇒
Haiku is in a pattern of 5-7-5 ⇒
Let’s go to Haiku Wikipedia
Haiku, when written in Japanese is in a single line, in the west three lines ⇒
Language = culture; in fact, the structure of language is cultural ⇒
Haiku is associated with other forms such as haibun, haiga ⇒
Is writing haiku cultural appropriation? ⇒
There is a lot of things to think about re; haiku. I bet it could sustain a podcast, where we only speak about haiku! ⇒
Is there a devoted podcast to haiku already? Let’s google it! ⇒
Wow, “A Poetry Podcast – Haiku Chronicles” that’s cool! ⇒
Featured video episodes YÉIL (RAVEN); let’s listen and watch ⇒
So cool. Him, if a Native American writes poetry in a 3 – 5 – 3 pattern, how is that related to Japanese haiku? ⇒
Ravens look a lot like crows! ⇒
Podcasts, Native American poets, art? How can I relate this to healthcare? ⇒
Hmm – how about a jointly hosted podcast, or maybe a Clubhouse? ⇒
Wait…. ⇒

Final idea!!!!: How about a jointly hosted podcast with a western medicine physician and Native American healer, discussing the various healthcare issues of the day, posting a podcast once a week?

That’s it! I will put it in my capture system as a future idea!

The actual journaling and mini-brainstorm took perhaps ten minutes, about 1/3 of the time to write this blog.

Anyway, this is why I love morning journaling as a creative tool!
