If you are a physician just starting to build a digital platform, a great starting point is the website namechkr.com.  ( No, that’s not a typo ).

It’s an easy way to cross-check your possible digital platform names across multiple platforms.

If you have an odd last name – like mine, “REHRL” –  then you may get lucky and have great coverage.

However, if your name is more common, say, “Bob Smith”, you may want to experiment with variations such as DrBobSmith, BobSmithMD, RobertSmithMD, DrRobertSmithMD, etc.

For most doctors, I would focus on having  your .com address, your Facebook name, your YouTube name, and  your Twitter name all match.  If these all are consistent,  you are way ahead of the game.
