These are the words which can bring Social Media Marketers to their knees.  

Look, I know several healthcare organizations which have revenue approaching haf a billion dollars per year, but who only have 2-3 social media people working for them. 

Knowing the world is moving relentlessly towards digital networks, and knowing that social media is one of the key strands around this movement, why are they so understaffed? 

I will tell you why.  It’s because of that single abbreviation,  ROI.  

This is the language of senior leadership, and if you don’t speak this language, then you will be placed well behind others in the budgetary process.
