In 2019, Nepal-born British Climber Nirmal Purja climbed all 14 of the world’s 8,000-metre peaks in just over six months, well documented in the film 14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible.

As any mountain climber knows, climbing even one of these peaks in a lifetime is an incredible achievement. To summit all 14 peaks in such a short time frame has been unimaginable until now.

So what lesson did I take from Purja’s achievement?

To think big, and act big; to take massive action; to set goals that are so inspiring, they have an internal momentum.

Most people deeply underestimate what they can do if they fully commit to a goal.

With that in mind—and after careful reflection—for next year, I have set my own massive action goal: A 10-book year.

I have several writing projects at various stages of completion. So, barring a significant health or family issue, I have decided to devote 2022 to the writing and publication of 10 books.
