About a year ago—while thinking about health organization CEOs and Twitter—I calculated that Bill Gates (the co-founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) tweeted on average .887 tweets/day ( January 10th, 2010 — Jan 13th, 2020): Physicians, Bill Gates, and 0.887 Tweets per Day

As of today, (January 10th, 2010 — January 10th, 2021) Bill Gates has tweeted 3444 times over 4081 days, resulting in a daily average of .844 tweets/day.

Considering it’s “The Time of Covid,” this stable tweeting rate (.844 vs .887) from this foundation’s co-founder still suggests to me that healthcare CEOs should consider being more engaged on Twitter in spreading their organization’s mission, and consider tweeting about once per day.
