An interval of comparative inactivity; a lull in business or in action of any kind.
O.E.D.
This last week I went on an inner city writing retreat and I wanted a clean mental deck during this time—and that meant not having any worry about missing my daily blog postings. So in this case, I wrote and scheduled seven blog posts to cover and create an entire week of blogging slack. (In fact, this is blog slack post number seven!)
Managing and creating slack. It’s the new black.
